This is the complete unit which includes two filter connection and plunger valves with strainers. Designed for Intex pools w/ 6000 gallons capacity and larger pool with 1-1/2" hose connections. Not recommended for non-intex pools due to possible compatibility issues. 1 year Intex factory warranty only.

Not that much better than the 2500gph pump - mike - rkfd, il.
The nicest thing about this pump is the timer. You can set it for two, four, or up to twelve hours of run time. It starts everyday for the period of time you select. However, if that is not a feature you need the 2500 gallon pump works just as well for half the money. { I upgraded from the 1500 to the 2500 last year} If you want to upgrade from either the 1500 or 2500 I suggest going for the sandfilter pump for only .00 more than the 4000 gph. Its says it does 2500 gph but works as well and you dont have the filter change/wash cost issue. You also do not get the airlock problem that seems to come with all the filter pumps.I own the 18 foot round intex pool with the inflattable ring.
