An Old Cooler With Ice Works Better Than This Thing - Leisa -
I purchased this (At Walmart for ) last week for a trip. I'm not at all impressed with this at all. I'm not sure if mine is in some way defective (the fan works) or if this really is just a total piece of garbage. It only kept my sodas and lunch meat "slightly cold" I wondered if it was because it hadn't had enough time to really cool everything in the 2 hour car ride, so once we got to the hotel, I plugged it in there overnight- same thing, food and drinks weren't very cold. My friend had brought her "old style" regular cooler with ice and her stuff was 10x colder than mine. Years ago I had a smaller version of this by a no-name company that I picked up at Target for about - it only held 6 cans of soda but they were ALWAYS very cold. I'll definitely be returning this to the store tomorrow. I may or may not try another, since as I said, I'm not sure if mine was defective or if these coleman coolers are truly junk. Very disappointing because I've always used the Coleman brand for ALL of our camping things and we've always been happy before.

I used DE years ago with a carpeted house successfully to get rid of fleas. We have mostly hardwood now, and even wearing a mask and goggles, this stuff went everywhere when I vacuumed (even the carpet). The entire house is now under a white layer. My lungs are killing me and I was up all night with poison control because the pain and lack of oxygen from exposure was so severe I thought I might die. I would not recommend using in houses with wood floors, without professional respirators, or in houses with children as their stuff is entirely coated unless you bag it all up first. We have vacuumed extensively and mopped 3 times in less than 12 hours with various things-Mrs. Meyers, water, vinegar & water mix to remove it and it will not get off the floors at all. It looks like a cornstarch factory exploded. This has been such a huge ordeal for us to clean the DE mess up, I will never use it again.

It is NOT squirrel proof. As a matter of fact all the squirrels have figures out that if the wrap their bodies around the bottom of the feeder and put their claws in the holes, they can have a wonderful feast.
Don't buy it! If anyone has one of these and has figured out what to do, please share. I have written to

The motion activated spraying worked fine. However the connection of a watering hose to the unit leaked constantly. I tried 2 differnet hoses, then added a hose washer into the threaded portion of the unit, then tried using teflon plumbing tape on the end or the watering hose threads. None of those worked. The unit leaked noticeably at the hose connection and was a constant waste of water.

I bought is to light up the number of my house in front of my yard and it does a GREAT job. The cord that comes with the lights could be longer, but it does a great job - especially in my overcast type weather - it has been quite good.

I surrounded a few very vulnerable plants with a giant, stinky ring of this stuff, and the squirrels disregarded it completely, continuing their invasive incursions into my garden. Apparently fox urine is more repellant to humans than it is to the fox's natural prey, because the reek was overwhelming to me.
